Hey lovelies! I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today I will be sharing my go-to stationery supplies. I love all of my supplies, but these are the ones I consider must-haves. These tools are not only fun to use, but they make life easier as well! This list is meant to help in the case you're feeling overwhelmed by all your stationery options and don't know where to begin. Let's get started!

1. Stabilo Boss Highlighters

These are a staple item for anyone who enjoys journaling or even just making their

notes pretty! I use these most often to make bold and impactful headings. They have a fat to thin tip, meaning you can use them in multiple ways. What I love most about these is their unique colors. They have a large range, but my favorites are...the pastels. Big surprise, I know! Most highlighters put a lot of ink on the page, making the paper rip easily. The colors are also very dark. But not these! As for where to purchase these, I've seen them at local art stores, Micahels, Amazon and at Stationery Pal. Prices vary, but they're generally sold individually for $2-$3 each, or in a pack of 6 for about $10. You can buy packs containing different color pallets, and more expensive ones with more colors than you could ever need!

2. Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive

Whenever I used to attach paper, pictures, and sticky notes in my journal, I'd use glue. In theory, this works fine...but it's certainly not ideal. Depending on the thinness of the paper, it sometimes caused warping, and was generally just messy. The solution? Roll on adhesive.

It can be a bit pricier than buying a pack of glue sticks, but it's 1000% worth it. When you buy it, it's about $9 and comes with the casing and one cartridge. Once you run out, you buy replacement cartridges in packs of three which are about $13. You can buy these at Michaels and Amazon. They're just so satisfying and easy to use. If you enjoy using roll on wite-out, this is the same concept.

3. iBayam Fineliner Pens

These fineliners have a fantastic range of colors, which is a main reason these are my go to fineliners. If you don't know what a fineliner is, it's like a cross between a pen and a marker. They have very thin tips, draw like markers, and are the size of a small pen. These are great for outlines, fine details, and for small writing. The most popular type of fineliners

are called Micron Pens, which I also highly recommend, but more so for outlining drawings, not so much for journaling. Stabilo Point Fineliners are also very popular and great for journaling, but tend to be a bit more expensive. They have a greater range of colors, but in my opinion, the iBayam Fineliners are all you need, especially if you're a beginner. You can find a pack of 18 on Amazon for about $8, and a pack of 24 for $9, so you're getting a better bang for your buck!

4. Knaid Grid Washi Tape Set

I'm not picky about my washi tape, but there's certain tapes that make everything better. Yes, everyone using tape should have solid colors, but grid tape isn't talked about enough. It doesn't distract from other parts of your spread, but is more visually pleasing and interesting

than solid colors. This set of tape comes with several different grid colors, and aren't super bright or vibrant, but are more muted, vintage type tones. If this isn't quite the vibe you're looking for, other sets exist as well. Find the colors you like best! On Amazon, the 14 pack that I have costs about $13, which is an excellent price for washi tape. With cheaper tape, you might find it ripping easily, which is frustrating and leads to wasted tape. Those are usually tapes with a more papery material. However, I've never had that issue with this tape, despite it's very fair price!

5. Oil Painting Sticky Notes

Sticky notes are your best friend. They come in all types of colors, patterns and shapes, and are thin enough to not add a ton of bulk to your journal! The best part, they're not like stickers where you typically have one or two of each kind. Sticky notes are a whole pad of the

same design, so you can use your favorite sticky notes again and again, unlike with stickers. I most often use these as a background element, since they're prettier than a blank piece of paper. While sticky notes in general are a great decorative item, these oil painting sticky notes are my favorite. They're pastel and cute! What more could I ask for? You can find these at Stationery Pal's website, for only $0.70 for each pad!

6. Sticker Binder

I have way more stickers than any person needs...and yet I continue to buy more. Of course I'll use them all when the time is right, but before I bought this item, I was running into

an issue. I was keeping all of my stickers in a single small paper pouch. It didn't fit much, and what it did fit was unorganized and could easily get crinkled. So when I saw that this sticker binder existed, it was a must have. While Hubman and Chubgirl doesn't sell the exact binder I have anymore, they now sell an upgraded one! Their new one costs $30, is made out of vegan leather rather than plastic, as well as built in storage. You can also buy additional plastic inner sleeves that actually hold the stickers in a set of five for around $4.50, depending on what type you buy. This product will keep your stickers organized, in pristine condition, and all in one place!
